The Animal surf brand was originally conceived in 1987 by two UK surfers that were frustrated with continuously losing their watches as the straps would break in heavy surfing conditions. The two surfers came up with a solution using a webbing and velcro strap that put an end to their problems. They quickly started to mass produce the watch straps and this allowed them to raise money to surf all over the world.....lucky fellas....the Animal surf brand was born. Building on their success with surf watches Animal began to produce a range of men’s surf clothing. Animal clothing with its eye catching branding and designs has become extremely popular with active sports enthusiasts across the world
